INTRODUCTION TO THE QABALAH

The Qabalah is an ancient Hebrew system that uses a sigil called The Tree Of Life to encapsulate ancient wisdom and magickal teachings.  A basic understanding of the concepts of the Qabalah can help you with your spiritual, religious, magickal and personal growth. Join Kathy Cybele for this ten week introductory course in the Qabalah.  One Sephira, the name for a sphere on the Tree Of Life, will be covered in-depth each week.  Wednesday nights at The Tree of Life in Ocean Beach (www.treeoflifestore.com) 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm.  Fee $10 per person.  Kathy recommends the book “The Elements of the Qabalah” by Will Parfitt.  A limited number of these books will be available for purchase during the first few classes. Hex Signs Workshop

 

The word Hex is German for Witch so a Hex Sign translates to Witch Sign.  Hex Signs have decorated the buildings of the Pennsylvania Dutch since the 1600s.  These beautiful images are used to ward off evil, to promote prosperity, peace, and more.  In this workshop you will learn this powerful magickal art and create your own hex sign to take home. 

November 12^th, 7:00pm – 9:00pm Fee: $20 includes all the materials you will need to create your Hex sign.  Taught by Kathy Cybele at The Tree of Life in San Diego.
